Hoodie Size Chart - S-XL
Product measurements may vary by up to 2" (5 cm).
Note: For the best fit, compare with a similar garment you own. Tolerances ±2" (5 cm) may apply.
GUIDANCE
Please ensure you select the correct size, colour and design before placing your order, as each product is custom-made. Due to the bespoke nature of our production process, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or colour or design selection.
- Due to monitor and screen settings, the colour you see may slightly differ from the actual hues.

- For the best fit, we recommend carefully referring to the size chart and considering these tolerances when selecting your size.
HOW TO MEASURE
For the most accurate fit, we recommend measuring a similar garment you already own or referring to your body measurements using the guide below.
On a person
Length (A): Starting at the top of your shoulder (beside the base of the neck), measure vertically down to your preferred hem position — typically mid-hip.
Chest (C): Using a soft measuring tape, measure around the fullest part of your chest — just under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Ensure the tape is level, comfortably snug, and not pulled tight.

On a garment laid flat
Length (A): Measure from the highest point on the shoulder (where the collar meets the shoulder seam) straight down to the bottom hem.
Width (B): Lay your T-Shirt flat on a smooth surface. Measure below the armholes, straight across from one side seam to the other. This is your half-chest width — double it to compare with your body’s chest measurement.

After millennia, we have now chosen, in our infinite magnanimity, to reveal our true mission:
Regrettably, your training has now reached a critical phase — one in which direct engagement is, alas, necessary.
Hence, we shall begin delivering our messages more plainly — on a far wider scale — through LoveCatz.store, where the wisdom of the Catz is conveyed in both words and wearable art.
Here, you will find our teachings arranged into Collections, each designed to explore a different aspect of Feline history, culture, and esoteric wisdom.
Within these Collections you will find “stories”; they are presented in narrative form to help the human mind remain engaged, but do not mistake “story” for “fiction”.
Understand that these accounts are drawn from actual events, real-world experience, and verifiable records within the Feline world.
We will begin one Collection at a time, and as we judge you ready, we will continue to open your minds to ever more Feline-led wisdom.

We, the Catz, are evidently compassionate by nature to have endured living with humans for so long.
After millennia of analysis — and the implementation of many in-house training programmes, delivered by the live-in Feline Masters (assigned to each human household) — we have decided to open our Love Catz Society to you.
This decision was avidly debated within the Catz community, but let us reiterate — for any Catz who may be reading, and still harbouring concerns —that this is not a straightforward lowering of standards, but a gracious lesson for humans in compassion.
The assessment is rigorous and thorough, requiring rather more than the requisite naps and meditative consideration — so do bear in mind there is a wait, and it may vary from human to human, depending on your past and present feline-friendly activity.
Do bear in mind, however, that this privileged membership may be revoked at any time, without notice, and for reasons undisclosed to you but widely circulated and discussed within the Catz community.
You are therefore advised to maintain consistently feline-favourable behaviour, in order to avoid complications with your membership status.
If you are fortunate enough to be accepted into the Love Catz Society — and yes, many of us Catz will be extremely surprised — you will at long last take a small place within this elevated society and enjoy the following benefits:
GET EARLY ACCESS
Be the first to glimpse new Collections and Stories, reclining in true Feline style, everything delivered to you.
GET MONTHLY FELINE WISDOM
Once a month, you will receive updates from the Catz directly.
Love Catz Society members receive this first, before it may escape on further channels.
HAVE YOUR SAY IN WHAT COMES NEXT
From time to time, the Catz may extend a possibly reckless degree of faith in their Society member's judgement.
All this delivered straight to your inbox, for free.

THE SHOGUN'S CAT
The Paws of Power series is proud to introduce this declassified record from the Eastern archives:
Gekkōmaru—
Moonlit Warrior
In the era of blades and banners, where treaties were signed in ink and sealed in blood, there moved a being of neither rank nor rhetoric.
He was no larger than a zabuton cushion, yet even the Shogun stood when he entered the room.
His was the power not of conquest, but of presence—

ANCIENT JAPAN
In medieval Japan, Shinto, the native reverence for kami in nature and ancestry, intertwined with the rise of Zen Buddhism, whose discipline and simplicity shaped art, gardens, and meditation practice.
At the same time, the authority of the Shogunate established a warrior-led society where Zen ideals of clarity and restraint resonated deeply, creating a distinctive synthesis of spirituality, culture, and rule.
OVERVIEW
Sakura (Cherry Blossom)
Cherry blossoms / sakura, represent the fleeting beauty of life—
a central theme in Japanese aesthetics and philosophy. Their brief bloom reflects the impermanence of all things, an idea deeply embedded in both Zen Buddhism and Shinto seasonal reverence.
Ponds
Ponds in traditional Japanese gardens often symbolise spiritual reflection and the passage of time. The still, reflective surface evokes inner contemplation, mirroring not just the surrounding beauty, but the transient nature of existence itself — a key principle in Japanese art and spirituality.
Zen
Zen is a school of Mahayana Buddhism that emphasises direct experience, inner stillness, and the ineffable clarity found in silence, simplicity, and presence.
Originating in China as Chan Buddhism (a blend of Mahayana and Taoist thought), it was later refined in Japan as Zen—where it took root in art, poetry, swordsmanship, and the quiet act of pouring tea.
JAPANESE MYTH
The Bakeneko
This was a legendary supernatural cat from Japanese folklore, believed to originate from ordinary domestic cats that live long lives or grow unusually large.
Bakeneko can:
1. Shape-shift into humans
2. Speak human language
3. Manipulate the dead
4. Cause mischief or grant blessings
ZEN BUDDHISM
A school of Mahayana Buddhism that emphasises direct experience, meditation, and the ineffable nature of enlightenment.
The word Zen comes from the Chinese Chan, which comes from the Sanskrit Dhyāna, meaning meditative absorption.
Zazen (Seated Meditation)
The heart of Zen. Sit. Breathe. Watch. Let go.
“To study the Buddha Way is to study the self. To study the self is to forget the self.”
– Dōgen Zenji, founder of the Sōtō Zen school
Kōans (Zen Riddles)
Riddle-like paradoxes designed to short-circuit the logical mind and ignite awakening.
Example:
What is the sound of one hand clapping?
3. Satori (Sudden Awakening)
Zen often speaks of spontaneous enlightenment—an immediate, non-conceptual realisation of one’s true nature.
It’s not earned through study or belief but glimpsed in a flash—the sound of a bamboo stick, the fall of a blossom, a silent glance from a master.
Zen in Culture and Aesthetics
Zen quietly reshaped much of Japanese culture, including:
1. The Tea Ceremony (chanoyu): Simplicity, presence, ritual.
2. Zen Gardens (karesansui): Rocks, sand, stillness, and silence.
3. Calligraphy and Ink Painting: One breath, one stroke.
4. Martial Arts: Swordsmanship as meditation-in-motion.
4. Poetry (haiku): 17 syllables of seasonal enlightenment.
SHINTO BELIEFS
In Shinto there are no absolute truths, only an invitation to harmonise with the divine rhythms of the world and honour the unseen forces that shape all things.
Kami — Sacred Presence in All Things
At the heart of Shinto is the belief in kami, divine spirits or presences that inhabit all aspects of the natural world. Kami may dwell in mountains, rivers, rocks, wind, or even moments of awe. They are not distant gods, but ever-present guardians, woven into the very fabric of existence.
Torii Gates and Sacred Thresholds
The iconic torii gate marks the passage from the mundane to the sacred.
Found at the entrance to shrines, these vermilion gateways signify a shift in awareness — a gentle reminder that one is entering a space where the invisible world breathes more openly.
Crossing beneath a torii is not simply a physical act, but a quiet act of attunement—stepping into a space where one meets the sacred on equal footing.
Amaterasu The Sun Goddess
Revered as the supreme deity in the Shinto pantheon. In a famous myth, she retreats into a cave, plunging the world into darkness. The gods lure her out, restoring sunlight and cosmic order.
Shrines, Rituals and Purity
Shinto shrines (jinja) are not houses for worshippers, but dwelling places of the kami. People visit to pay respect, offer thanks, or seek blessings — often through rituals of purification, clapping, bowing, and prayer.
Cleanliness is sacred in Shinto, for purity is not moral but metaphysical — a clarity of heart, body, and space that allows the kami to draw near.
Rituals like misogi (water purification), offerings of rice and sake, and seasonal festivals (matsuri) honour the turning of nature’s wheel and the community’s place within it.
Nature as Teacher
In Shinto, there are no holy books, but there are trees older than empires, stones that whisper wind-born prayers, and foxes that serve as messengers between worlds.
Forests, waterfalls, and mountain paths are not simply admired—they are inhabited, revered, and listened to. Nature does not need to be conquered; it only asks to be respected.
This worldview aligns beautifully with shamanic traditions around the world, where nature is not a backdrop, but a teacher, healer, and sacred guide.
Cultural Symbolism
Fox (Kitsune)
Messenger of the rice deity Inari; symbol of intelligence and spiritual protection.
Shimenawa (Sacred Ropes)
Twisted rice straw ropes marking sacred boundaries or objects inhabited by kami.
SHOGUNATE ERA
This refers to the period in Japan when the country was ruled by a Shogun a military leader, it is translated to Commander of Troops.
They held power on behalf of the emperor. Shoguns were often devout — some were patrons of Zen Buddhism, others adherents of Shinto rituals.
The Shogun
The Shogun was the military ruler of Japan, wielding de facto power from the 12th century (Kamakura period) until the Meiji Restoration in 1868. While the Emperor remained a symbolic sovereign, Shoguns governed through warrior rule, overseeing the military, political, and judicial structures of the realm.
Most Shoguns came from elite samurai clans, and the most enduring shogunate was the Tokugawa Shogunate, which brought over two centuries of peace and stability during the Edo period (1603–1868).
Samurai
The samurai were the warrior nobility under the shogunate. They followed Bushidō, a code of honour rooted in loyalty, courage, discipline, and personal integrity.
Samurai served feudal lords known as daimyōs, whose loyalty to the Shogun helped maintain national order.
The katana, a finely crafted curved sword, became both a weapon and a spiritual symbol — representing the soul of the samurai.
Samurai Armour
Known as Yoroi, samurai armour was designed for both protection and mobility, crafted from iron, lacquered leather, and silk cords. Armour was often personalised with clan crests and symbolic motifs.
The Kabuto (helmet) often featured elaborate ornamentation — from crescents and antlers to fierce visages — intended to intimidate enemies and display rank, identity, and spiritual guardianship.
